Hello!

My name is Gaurav. I'm the founder of Farfaraway and have been practising Vedic astrology on a full-time basis for over ten years. I was born and brought up in India. Whilst growing up, it was commonly understood that you must at least have a master's before you can carry on with your passions, and so I followed that path. I studied engineering and later completed an MBA.

A few years later, in 2015, on a motorcycle trip to Leh-Ladakh, I felt inspired to pursue Vedic astrology, which had only been a hobby until that time. That trip also gave me the brand name: Far Far Away. Driven by that emotion, I quit my job and moved to Bali for some peace and quiet to build my astrology business. At that time, Bali was my dream destination for digital nomads, and partially still is. A few years later, I moved from Bali to London for some international exposure.

In my journey of studying Vedic astrology, I have found many books, blogs, and YouTube channels to be helpful. I'd like to thank the authors for their work, whose work I have listed here. These days, I rely on my experience of reading charts to further my understanding of Vedic astrology.

I might get acquainted with your story if you were to contact me for a reading, so in the interest of fairness, I’d like to share a few other things about me. My favorite book is the Bhagavad Gita. My favorite television show is Yes Minister.
